OverallFirst thing i would like to test is the tanking position if we can use the same position in 25 as we use in 10 it would simplify things immensely. As you can see in the video there is a lot to be gained by keeping the raid to the centre and having both the left and right sides clear for people to run to with Gravity Bomb or Light Bomb. Tympanic TantrumOnce per minute, the boss casts Tympanic Tantrum. The one-minute cooldown is reset by exposing the heart (getting below 75%, 50% or 25% respectively), so high-DPS groups can completely avoid Tantrum. If the boss casts Tantrum, every raid member takes 80% damage within 8 seconds, and is slowed by about 40%. This means that AoE healing must be well organized so that nobody dies from this damage, and that the raid should be on top health prior to Tantrum. The standard avoidance methods do work, but reduce DPS (which may prove fatal). Hunter Deterrence is ineffective but Rogue Feint does reduce Tantrum damage. The damage can also be mitigated by a paladin's Divine Sacrifice coupled with Hand of Protection or Divine Shield, as well as a Discipline-specced priest's shield (with a shorter cooldown from Soul Warding, and 3% raid-wide damage mitigation from Renewed Hope). The Heartburn strategy will also be worked at, if we can dps the boss down to the exposed heart phases quickly enough it is possible to avoid the Tantrum, it will be worth looking into. The most important part of this fight is your self awareness, quick reactions when you have a debuff and being able to push your DPS. Also ALL the DPS needs to take care of the small adds - not just a few - if you aren't doing this - you are a liability and not thinking as a team player. ReadWatch
Here's a video for the hardmode version, Once we get geared up more we'll start working on it -
